And then there’s more - digitals that is :)))
Getting the 300PPI set correctly is simple enough, but when you come to print you may want to reduce that. The conventional wisdom is that 300 Pixels Per Inch is as good as it gets for the highest quality of digital printing, but then the size you can print depends on what you want to do with the print. If you want to be able to have very high quality resolution at a distance of a meter or less, then maybe you need the 300 these images are saved at, but if you really only want to view it from 5meters or even more, then a much lower PPI will allow you to produce a much larger print. PPI’s of over 200 should give very good resolutions but less might be perfectly good for viewing from further away.
Talk to your printer - he or she should be able to advise you as to what PPI will work best for the size of print you hope to get, and the distance it will generally be viewed from. The quality of the printer itself will also have a bearing on the final product, so search for the best you can find in terms of equipment and personel to advise you and produce your finished print.
So, be brave - chance your arm, and buy one of these. It’s only $25.00, and if you’re not happy with the result, we’ll give you your money back and you of course get to keep the downloaded image.
With Xmas coming, and the “In-Laws” to buy for yet again, well,……… a Limited Edition Print from Natalia Olssen is a very imaginative and cost effective solution!
